#tbt... TSO Concert

A few years ago I was having a really hard time coming up with something to get Mark for our anniversary and ended up deciding to get him tickets to a TransSiberian Orchestra concert as a gift.  I wasn't sure if he would like it, but I was hoping that the combination of the music and special effects would be a fun time for both of us.  Plus, for those of you who know me, you know that for our anniversary I really enjoy getting gifts that we can use together.  Let's just say that the TSO Concert did NOT disappoint and I think that at some point in the future I would really like to try to get tickets to see them again!!

And of course this post wouldn't be complete if I didn't share a video (or 2) of our experience with you!! 

Seriously.. the music, lights, sound effects, fire, etc. did NOT disappoint and I can't wait until we have an opportunity to go see them again!!

#tbt... Ice Skating in NJ

Before I broke my ankle a million and one times I used to absolutely LOVE to ice skate.  I learned to ice skate as a young kid at the George Street Pond in Harrington Park, NJ.  My grandma, mom and aunt all used to love to ice skate too and it would always be a group outing to the pond.  Ice skating is something that I actually miss doing, but something I won't even attempt with my crazy ankles for fear that I will break one again. Since we finally got some snow this week (can't believe the weathermen actually got it right this time!!), I figured this week we would throw it back to ice skating in NJ!!

For good measure I was able to find an old picture of me ice skating on the George Street pond as a kid... don't I look like I was loving it?!

What are your thoughts on ice skating??

#tbt... Hershey Park Zoo

My husband has absolutely no fear of driving in bad weather... never has and probably never will.  So when he suggests we take a trip out to Hershey Park the day after having a pretty substantial snow storm, I say, "Sure, why not?!"  Since we have been having a ton of snow these past couple of weeks, ok maybe not a ton...because it really isn't sticking... but it sure has snowed on a bunch of different days... I figured today would be a good day to #tbt to that one time we drove to the Hershey Park Zoo after a snow storm. 

Obviously we had to get a picture with the Bison because what kind of Bucknellians would we be if we didn't take a picture with every Bison possible?!?!

#tbt... Little Brother's Winter Ball

As I was looking through pictures on my computer this past week I came across a folder of pictures from my little brother's Winter Ball.  Winter Ball was one of the highlights of high school... Juniors and Seniors could attend the Winter Ball (well I guess freshman and sophomores could go as well, so long as they were the date of an upperclassman) and it was always a good time.  This week I am throwing back to my little brother in high school at his first Winter Ball.

#tbt... Christmas Through the Years

Seeing as Christmas is only 1 week away (cue panic because I am not even close to being ready for the holiday), I figure it is only fitting that this week's #tbt post is dedicated to Christmas through the years and by through the years it is going to be from like 2006 - Present because those are the only pictures I have here in my place!
