#SayIDotoSantoleri... SS & MS Tie the Knot

Besides working like a crazy person the past 6 months I also had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in one of my best friend's weddings!! When SS asked me to be a bridesmaid I was over the moon as although I haven't known SS for all that long she is definitely one of those girls who I know is going to be my lifelong friend.  We met approximately five years ago when KT brought SS along to a birthday celebration and in that short amount of time SS became one of the best friends a girl could ever ask for.

In August we hosted a bridal shower for SS at the Corinthian Yacht Club.  We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue for the shower.  Everything turned out fantastic (if I do say so myself) and a lovely time was had by all.

And the end of August we headed to OCMD (Ocean City, Maryland for those of you who aren't from this area) for Sam's bachelorette weekend.  A fun time was had by all... and we all ended up with some fun "tattoos" as well as stories from the weekend.

When the big day, September 12, 2015 rolled around, we were all super excited to help SS get ready to marry the love of her life.  We got ready at MS's grandparent's house and let me say that house was like a time capsule and I could have spent hours just walking around looking at everything.  We primped and prepped for most of the morning, but obviously took a break to have some mimosas.

We arrived at the church fairly on time and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful.  I was so nervous because it was my first time participating in a Catholic wedding ceremony and not being Catholic I was super afraid I was going to mess something up.  Fortunately everything went perfectly and once the ceremony was over we were all ready to get our party on.

The reception was at the Merion Tribute House and what a GORGEOUS reception venue it was.  I am a sucker for old, historic buildings so this place was right up my alley.  SS and MS did a FABULOUS job with the reception and a fun time was had by all.

I was so sad to see the night end as it was a fabulous time with some of my most favorite people.  I can't remember the last time I danced that much, laughed that much and had overall such an amazing time with some of the best friends a girl could ever ask for.

It was so special to be a part of such a special day for SS and MS and I wish them nothing but years and years of happiness together!

When was the last time you were in a wedding? What were your favorite memories from the last wedding you went to?

#MarryingAMariotti... JG's Bachelorette Weekend

After working a crazy week last week (& getting very little sleep) I was super excited for a weekend away with some amazing ladies to celebrate the upcoming wedding of one of my bffs, JG.  JG got engaged last year and shortly after announcing her engagement asked me to be one of her bridesmaids.  I couldn't have been more thrilled to be asked to be a part of her special day (she was a part of my wedding, so I couldn't imagine not being there for her) and obviously said yes.

O3 does a wedding!!
BFFs at my wedding
Fast forward to this weekend, it was time to head down to Baltimore to celebrate her bachelorette.  After work I headed to JG's apartment to pick up her and KT for an O3 (Original 3... yup, that is what the 3 of us call each other) road trip!!! The trip down was fairly easy... until we drove past the hotel somehow and ended up in a sketchy area of Baltimore, but we eventually found our way and were able to get the party started!!

After a quick dinner of pizza and some drinks we headed out for Night #1 of fun in Baltimore.  We headed to a bar in Fells Point where we had a night full of dancing, drinks and overall good times.  I can't remember the last time I drank and danced that much... after all of the hours I have put in at work already this year I was in desperate need of a night like Friday!!

Saturday we didn't do too much as more friends were arriving during the day. We did venture out to Fells Point once again to grab some food before heading back to the hotel to get ready for Round 2!

Saturday Night we headed to Power Plant Live! where once again we were able to drink and dance the night away.  Saturday was incredibly fun and had the added fun of the "Bachelorette Dare" game.  Once we all had a few drinks in us we spent a lot of time completing our dares and taking lots of pictures to prove that we had done them!

O3 ready for Night #2

The "Married Ladies" ... don't worry, we still got it and know how to have fun!!
