This past weekend we took a road trip all the way to Pittsburgh, PA to see my little sister in Chi Omega get married to the love of her life and best friend. My little and her now hubby have been together ever since I met her back in college and even then they seemed like the perfect pair! They are both a little weird at times, but that is one of the things that they love and embrace about each other (in fact they both even mentioned it in their vows!).
While the weather on Saturday had been kind of iffy, it managed to hold out so that they could have the most perfect ceremony outside on the lawn of the Mansion at Maple Heights in Pittsburgh.
After the ceremony we headed inside the mansion for a cocktail hour filled with delicious beers (the groom even had some homebrews for everyone to try) and a delicious signature cocktail!
Dinner was served in a tent outside where we watched my little and her groom cut their cake, have their first dance, and enjoyed some socializing with people we haven't seen in years.
Once dinner was over it was time to head inside to dance the night away!
M & I definitely had the BEST time at the wedding and I couldn't be happier for my little. I am sad that the day went so fast because through it all it made me realize how much I miss spending time with my little... Pittsburgh is an eternity away (ok, maybe just a 5 hour drive, but that seems like an eternity) and we don't get to see each other nearly enough.
