Spinach Lasagna
Ingredients:
1 lb. ricotta cheese
4 c. grated mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1 package fresh spinach
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 jar spaghetti sauce (we make our own homemade sauce instead of using a jar)
8 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked
1 c. water
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In large bowl mix ricotta cheese, 2 c. mozzarella cheese, egg, spinach, salt, oregano and pepper.
4. Repeat.
5. Top with remaining noodles
6. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese
7. Pour water around edges of baking dish
8. Cover tightly with foil. Bake for 1 hr. 15 minutes or until bubbly
9. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
10. Enjoy!
We love lasagna, esp because we can freeze the other half for another meal. I have never tried spinach in it, I may just need to.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a fan of Lasagna b/c of my acid reflux but this is a good turn around on this and I've always wanted to learn how to make home made lasagna. Maybe one day I will. See I didn't pass over your blog today girl.
